Everything is "big"

We talked to our children who are waiting for us in the Phils. They received our latest package which included photos of friends and family. E wanted us to know that he is "growing". So I was curious about the comment. His foster mom told me that he was exercising since he needed to catch up to his brothers here in the US. Apparently, the photo of our 3 boys really impressed him (I hope it didn't scare the kids) on how "BIG" they are!

This isn't our first experience with E noticing the size of things. We sent a birthday cake to his orphanage when he turned 7 this summer. We wanted to be sure there would be enough cake for everyone there (about 40 people). His comment: "That sure was a BIG cake." He is our happy guy, we are finding out.

M is opening up and seemed a bit more animated in her conversation with us, well at least the tone of her voice since she only says "Hi, Mommy, love you Mommy, thank you Mommy" and whatever else her foster mom prompts her with at this point. She is the serious big sister and we hope she adjusts well to life here and can be a kid.

J is quick in school and has lots of friends from what we hear. He memorizes his Bible verses and is glad to tell us. I think he is going to move fast in his lessons.

Little J is quite the "firecracker". She is up at dawn with her foster mom, so I let hubby know that they can have daddy-daughter time in the mornings while I get my beauty sleep :)
